Day 1 .. Arrived in Dungog !!

So we have all arrived in Dungog after 96 km day.

The wonderful Clarence Town Seniors Group and Clarence Town Lions Club put on an awesome meal for us.  There was yummy sandwiches, fruit and slices and hot sausages on bread.  Everyone left feeling very full.

They got back on their bikes and pedalled their way into Dungog.   We are now set up at the Settlors Arms in Dungog having showers, sharing stories from today and having some nice cool drinks.

Poor Paul from Team Raw Toast came off his stationery bike in the car park of Settlors Arms Hotel knocking over his poor mother-in-law and cutting his leg open enough that Doc Renee had to get out the sutures and stitch him up - she was very excited and Paul was very brave !   Don't worry Simpkin and Ekert Family - Paul is fine !

Tonight we will have dinner here and then the new Fine Master (Big G) will be handing out fines and we will be giving out our Special Jerseys.

Stay tuned for an update on this.

Bye for now,
Donna.
